The Rev. Dr. Sheila Harvey Guillaume is the full-time pastor of Union Congregational United Church of Christ in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Dr. Sheila also serves on the Board of the Council of Health and Human Services Ministry (CHHSM), and is the chair of the UCC's Just Peace Steering Committee. In addition, she served as the Regional Youth Minister for the Florida Conference of the United Church of Christ for nearly a decade.
Prior to her joining Union Congregational, Dr. Sheila was a Hospice Chaplain for several years with VITAS Healthcare. She also served as Interim Pastor at Christ Congregational UCC in Palmetto Bay, Florida, and for several years she was the Associate Minister of Christian Education and Youth at the First Church of Suffield Congregational UCC in Suffield, Connecticut. Dr. Sheila began her ministry as a Youth Pastor at Mount Moriah Progressive National Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Sheila also holds several degrees; Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, Master of Divinity from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and her Doctor of Divinity from Hartford Seminary in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Sheila has also successfully completed two UCC affiliated continuing education leadership institutes, and certification leadership courses on entrepreneurship and community health at Harvard University’s HarvardX online.
Dr. Sheila resides in North Palm Beach with her son.
